The POE-PowerTap serves as a versatile and essential tool for testing, monitoring, and extracting POE voltages. It can easily tap into the POE voltage from a switch or inserter and transfer it to flying lead wires up to 12awg. Furthermore, it can also inject POE voltage into a CAT5 cable using flying lead wires. The device utilizes the passive POE pinout pins 4,5(V+-) and 7,8(V+-) and is capable of handling currents up to 2A.
